How far will you go if you give your best?

There are only six weeks left before the exams. It will pass very quickly! You're still young, but you're building your future every day. You have no time to lose. What kind of person do you want to become? How far do you want do reach? If you don't try, you'll never know. If you give your best, you'll get further than you ever thought you could.

Here is the video we saw in class today. 

Pronunciation: "do you want to...?"

En inglés, para preguntar a alguien si quiere hacer algo, empiezas la pregunta con "Do you want to...". Te habrás dado cuenta que en inglés las palabras no siempre se pronuncian como se escriben.

¿Cómo dirías: "quieres ir al centro comercial después del colegio"?

Easter holidays

Today was the last day of school before the Easter holidays. At school, Safa, Yasmin and Pablo wrote e-mails to our friends from around the world, and we watched the movie Ocean's Eleven. We had a good time!

What are you doing for the holidays? Are you staying in Madrid or are you going somewhere? Will you visit the beaches in Pablo's United States? Or explore the volcanoes in Shivaria? If you like bicycling you should go to New Continent. Have you ever been to Antropolis?




Enjoy your holidays! When we come back, we only have a few weeks left before the summer. It will pass very quickly, but we still have many things to do and much to learn, so you have to come back with lots of energy!

When we come back, we will continue to work on the past tense, so please review what we have done so far, and study the irregular verbs. You will find them on page 143 of your book, or here on the blog, in the "grammar" section.
